Community Table Program
The Community Table Program provides an evening meal, 7 nights a week, 365 days a year from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to anyone in need of a hot, nutritious meal.
The Community Table Program is operated by the DHHS. Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday from approximately 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. to set-up and serve meals (we have a paid cook during the week) and then to clean up the dishes and kitchen area after the meal is finished. Weekday volunteers usually sign-up to work the same evening (e.g., Monday evenings) either every week or every other week.

The Salvation Army
Salvation Army Programs are led by Salvation Army Officers. These officers are responsible to lead by assessing needs, delivering programs and directing ministries for our local community. From serving food to balancing the books, they function as the Executive Directors and Pastors.

Beyond Shelter
Beyond Shelter provides the Frederick County community: two emergency shelters; financial support for emergency rental/utility assistance, and security deposits, financial support for prescriptions and emergency dental procedures, and programming to support people once they have been re-housed. In addition, Case Managers provide clients the tools and support needed to create personal strategies to address the barriers preventing them from establishing employment and housing security. Beyond Shelter is the largest provider of shelter and homeless prevention services in the county.
