Environmental Ministry: Monocacy Battlefield, Help and Hike

Our next hike is Saturday, September 26 at Monocacy Battlefield. We will first join the park rangers at 10:00 AM at the Visitor Center to help with National Public Land Day (see link below), then we will go to Worthington Farm for our hike. This hike features a path along the calm Monocacy River where we will see paw paws, trails along pastureland where we will see cattle, and a forested trail. The total distance will be around 3.5 miles with options to break off to return to the parking lot if needed. Please bring your lunch, we will provide water and other drinks, and snacks. The next day, September 27 after the 10:00 AM service, there will be a meeting of the Environmental Ministry in the Great Hall to discuss future projects! All are welcome.
