As we move into the fall and the future
Ways You Can Serve
We are aiming toward 8am, 10am, and 4pm worship offerings for the fall, but we can’t do it without your help. As we resurrect and expand our in-person complement of worship, it will take your support. If you’re willing to serve in any of the following roles, fill out our google form and our team will follow up with you.

- Acolytes
Ushers
Youth Ministry
Vergers
Connect Team
Altar Guild
Acolytes are faithful servants to the Cross, the Procession, the Gospel, and the Table. Next to the Clergy, Acolytes have an integral part in Worship. Acolytes lead movement throughout the Service and are attendants to the needs of the Clergy. Within that role the Acolytes have their fun. Who else gets to set the pace down the aisle? Or gets to swing smoke (fire)? Or are a key part to the setting of the Lord’s Table? A deeper knowledge of the beauty and fun of the Episcopal Service is yours as an Acolyte. All Ages Welcome.
Ushers – Welcoming is the Ministry of the Usher. We greet those who enter, guide those who are new, and create a Welcoming Space. Additionally, the Ushers provide guidance in the movement of the Congregation. The Ushers guide and are responsive to the needs of the Congregation, along with caring for the presentation of the gifts of Bread and Wine, the gathering of offerings and attending to how many are present. We are a Cheerful Servants to the Service. We are also key to recognizing those new among us and, along with Welcoming them, guiding the Clergy in recognition of them. We are the first line of Hospitality. If you are interested in ushering at any of our services, or serving as an usher co-coordinator, reach out.
Youth Ministry – Are you wanting your mind blown? Come to Youth Ministry. Youth Ministers take those leaving Sunday School and guide them on their exploration of Faith and Service. Are you willing to challenge and be challenged in the Word? Discovery, Service and Loving Community is the joy of Youth Ministry, especially in the guidance of the Advent and Lent Youth Services, along with Team Building Outings, Service Projects and Fun Times (Lock-in). Be a part of Guiding our Youth and being Renewed by them. If you’d like to be a youth co-leader, reach out.
Vergers – As we move forward into the future of worship, more and more moving parts come together for Sunday worship. Do you have an eye for the big picture? Are you good with logistics and detail, and love when a plan comes together? Our vergers make sure that our Sunday volunteers and are in place and have the tools and information they need to help worship happen smoothly and gracefully. If you’re interested in being a verger, or being a verger coordinator, reach out.
Connect Team — Our “Invite Welcome Connect” team, which helps newcomers become part of the All Saints’ family, is looking for people who love reaching out to others. Have a phone call, or a cup of coffee with people who are looking for a church home. Get to know them, and help them get to know All Saints’. If being a Connect Team Member sounds like fun, reach out.
Altar Guild — “It is an honor and privilege to be allowed to care for the holy things in God’s house.” Josephine Smith Wood in her Altar Guild Manual, 1915. Some things never change! Help us prepare the altar before worship, break down after, or clean and maintain our altarpieces and linens. We welcome and would love to have any interested adults and youth serve in this ministry on one of our teams. If you’d like to be part of the Altar Guild, reach out.
