The Getting Ahead Program

Based on the continuing success of the Getting Ahead program, where All Saints has been one of the meal sponsors for the past couple of years, we have decided to sponsor the next session as well.  All Saints continues to receive words of thanks from the other sponsors and the participants!

As you may recall, the Getting Ahead program “helps low-income families move from dependency to self-sufficiency through education, self-assessment, and mentoring experience.  The Investigators (participants) will take a look at their current situation and plan for the future all while building relationships, setting goals, and resources to “get ahead”.” This program serves our local community members who generally would be considered our “working poor”.

All Saints will be participating by once again providing meals for the Investigators, Facilitators, Child Care providers and children.  This next session will start in October and additional details will be coming very soon!

This year we are grateful to have another volunteer helping to coordinate this Program for All Saints, thank you and welcome to Laura Hammond!
