Moving Forward While Taking a Step Back
With the rising rates of Covid-19 infections in Frederick and in the State, primarily related to the Delta Variant, the Diocese has moved back into the Yellow Phase.
For us it means that we will go back to the requirement to wear a mask when you are inside the buildings. During the Services everyone in the Congregation will remained masked. The Clergy, Lectors, and Choir may take off their masks as they feel appropriate, with social distancing, to lead Worship. Additional instructions regarding Communion will be given during the Service. We do this out of an abundance of caution for those in our Congregation that are vulnerable. As good stewards we do not wish to cast lots on those around us. If further mitigations become necessary we will communicate them to you.
We continue to plan for our Welcoming Forward celebration on September 12, and a new look for our program going into the fall.
We do know that for our Children and Youth ministries we will parallel the FCPS guidelines, which were updated on July 28.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact Rev. Jess (jholthus@allsaintsmd.org), Mark Gibson (mgibson@comsearch.com) or Eric Percy (ehpercy@aol.com) to be a part of our new All Saints’.
