A New Class on African American Theology and Ethics—In the new year, the Rev. Joseph Pagano, PhD, will offer a short version of his university course on African American Theology and Ethics. Required readings will be from the following: Jeffrey Brodd et al, Invitation to World Religions; Peter Paris, Virtue and Value: The African and African American Experience; Albert Raboteau, Canaan Land: A Religious History of African Americans; Albert Raboteau, American Prophets: Seven Religious Radicals & Their Struggle for Social and Political Justice; and Milton Sernett, editor, African American Religious History: A Documentary Witness (2nd edition).
