Watch this space throughout the month for updates on fun events, Christmas celebrations, formation and Bible study, and more!

Here are some of the events to watch for this month:

A Very Special Visitor is Coming to All Saints! – An event for Children of all ages! All Saints’ next intergenerational event is Sunday, December 4 at 9 AM. Join us for a visit with St. Nicholas in the Parish Hall!

  • Worship with All Saints’ on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
    Christmas Eve: 4 PM Holy Eucharist and Children’s Pageant
    7 PM Holy Eucharist with Candlelight and Carols
    10 PM Holy Eucharist with Candlelight and Carols
  • Diaper Drive for Centro Hispano -We are continuing our diaper drives for Centro Hispano, however there will be no drive on December 1st. If folks wish to donate diapers they may bring them to the All Saints’ parking lot on December 15between 12-1. This will coincide when people will be dropping off gifts they have purchased for Centro Hispano children.

  • Gourmet Night is SOLD OUT! – We look forward to seeing you there!
  • Greening of the Church on Thursday 12.22 at 5:00 – Please join us Thursday 12/22 at 5:00 for the Greening of the Church. It’s a whirlwind of festive activities! Teens transport boxed hurricane lamps, children help wheel carts of poinsettias for placement in the windows, folks replace bows on wreaths, and more! Men, women, children…all are invited, and no flower arranging experience is necessary. Many feet and hands make light work. There are lots of easy tasks that can be accomplished in an hour with many volunteers. Mark your calendars and join the camaraderie! Pizza and beverages will be provided. Email Jackie Gambill at jamgambill97@gmail.com with any questions or to rsvp and help provide an estimated head count of helpers. Or you can just show up on 12.22!
  • Updates from Your Vestry – Join All Saints’ Vestry for important updates on All Saints’ budget for 2023 and the search for the next clergy for All Saints’ Church. Your vestry will be hosting a forum at 11:15 (following the 10 AM Eucharist) on Sunday, December 4. This is an important opportunity to learn more about plans for 2023.
  • Children’s Christian Formation – Classroom are located as follows:
    PreK / K / 1st Grade Classroom – next to Nursery
    2nd / 3rd Grade Classroom – behind PreK/K/1st grade classroom
    4th Grade and Up Classroom – hallway between Lower Gathering Space and elevator

    December 11th: In-Person Lesson: Jesus is Born
    December 18th: Rehearsal for Children’s Christmas Pageant
    December 24th: Children’s Christmas Pageant at 4 PM, in the Historic Church
    December 25th: No in-person or email lesson

  • Weekly (Zoom) Bible Study on the Appointed Gospels – Attention! To those of you have have yet to join us, the Gospel Bible Study Zoom will welcome anyone for one or many of our Monday night sessions. Join us when you can, and don’t worry about when you can’t!

    Anyone wishing to study the Gospel reading for the following Sunday may gather on Zoom. We will meet from 7-8:30 p.m., guided by the Rev. Elaine Prince; the Zoom will be hosted by Lynn Gebrowsky.

    We will briefly reflect on the previous Sunday’s sermon before we look at the upcoming Gospel.

  • Youth Event – Cookie Baking – Calling All Saints’ Youth and their families! Join us for a night of fun and fellowship while we bake cookies for the Historic Church Candlelight tour. We are meeting on Friday, December 16th at 6:00 PM in the Parish Hall Kitchen.
    All Saints is a hospitality stop for this year’s Historic Church Candlelight Tour, and we need your help. This will also be a chance to learn more about the future of Youth Formation at All Saints’. If you want to join, please sign up at this link.

    Not a family with Youth but still want to help? We are looking for donations of cookie baking ingredients and supplies! Items include:
    Flour
    Sugar
    Sprinkles
    Chocolate Chips
    Individual Cookie Bags with twist ties

    We will be collecting donations on Sunday, December 11th.

  • Advent Lessons and Carols with Holy Communion – Sunday, December 11 at 10 AM and change the title to Advent Lessons and Carols with Holy Communion.
