Children’s & Youth Formation Starts Sept 12!
Calling all families! We are kicking off our Formation program year for children (Pre- K through Grade 5) and youth (Grades 6-12) Sunday, September 12. We have a small pool of wonderfully talented and dedicated adults who will be teaching this year, and we are always seeking more volunteers, so please consider helping out as we begin these programs.
For our Pre-K through 5th Graders, we are offering monthly virtual classroom experiences that will be grouped as follows: PreK-1st Graders, 2nd and 3rd Graders, and 4th and 5 Graders. The virtual zoom meetings will be from 9:00-9:45am the 1st Sundays each month, except for the September 12th session (since Sept 5th is Labor Day weekend). So, mark your calendars for September 12th, October 3rd, November 7th, and December 5th. If you’d like to teach, help with the take-home activity materials, or just support in any way, please contact either Peg McGreevy at mmmcgreevy@gmail.com or Lorraine Kituri at lkituri05@yahoo.com
For our youth, Grades 6-12, we will be gathering outside in the Memorial Garden on Sundays from 11:30-12:30. If you want to help out, we’d love to have you! Please contact Amy.Fonss@gmail.com to offer to help out in any capacity – the more the merrier!

The planning team conducted multiple listening sessions over the summer which provided an opportunity for parents to provide feedback that shaped the Fall schedule.
We are following the Diocese of Maryland’s phase guidance for gathering in-person, and we are currently in the Orange Phase which precludes us from offering formation in-person.
This Phase, as well as the feedback we gathered from those who participated in the listening sessions or survey, means that we will be gathering virtually for children in Pre-K through 5th Grade. For our 6th-12th graders we plan to meet outside. We are certainly hopeful that the COVID case rate will decline, and land back to Green soon so we can all be together again, but we must maintain safety for all.
We are certainly all tired from this virus, but we know God will carry us through, so please consider this opportunity for your children and youth and for YOU to enrich your spiritual journey and to feel God’s loving arms through gathering with others in community for All Saints’ formation.
