Altar Guild workshop:
Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall

Men, women, and children with a parent who are interested in knowing more about the work of the Altar Guild are invited to meet current members and Rev. Amy to discuss the workings of the Altar Guild (Sept 17 at 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall). Following light refreshments, we will have the opportunity to talk with Rev. Amy and ask questions pertinent to preparing the table for the Lord’s Supper. We may also take a look at our illustrated step-by-step manual and glossary.

Altar Guild members work on one of three teams to set up for communion at the service he or she usually attends for two consecutive weeks and are off for four weeks. This is a “No Fear Zone.” New members always work with a partner following written step-by-step instructions with pictures of what the completed set-up should look like.
